How can you begin to integrate mindfulness in your everyday life?

Be present.

If you don't feel like you are experiencing the present, sit, and breathe in, notice the breath and connect with it. Connect with your breath until your mind and body feel as one.

It takes some practice. Daily.

Begin sitting for short periods of time. Let your mind stop the thoughts and take a break. In nature my mind is open and clear.

If you recite this mantra while being present with your breath you will begin to open your heart chakra. If reciting an "anchor word" helps you like it helped me, recite the words "YUM" to open the heart chakra. Bring your mind and body into alignment.
